The Opportunity: Marketing & Lead Generation Manager
The Marketing & Lead Generation Manager will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will drive practice growth through developing and executing strategies that attract, engage, and convert prospective customers into qualified leads. This role oversees digital marketing campaigns, content creation, email marketing, paid advertising, and social media efforts to drive brand visibility and demand. The manager analyzes performance data, optimizes campaigns for higher conversion rates, and collaborates with the legal team to ensure lead quality and alignment with revenue goals. Additionally, this role will manage marketing automation tools, track key metrics, and continually refine the lead generation funnel to support sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will have the ability to grow into a leadership team role within 6-12 months, manage the entire marketing and sales process, and potentially supervise a direct report after mastering the core competencies of the role.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns (email, paid search, social media, content marketing, short form videos, etc.).
· Manage marketing automation platforms and HubSpot to capture, score, and nurture leads.
· Create targeted audience segments and personalized messaging to improve engagement and conversion rates.
· Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and optimize tactics to lower cost-per-lead and increase pipeline growth.
· Oversee creation of marketing assets, including landing pages, digital ads, blog posts, and promotional materials.
· Conduct market research to identify new audience opportunities and competitive insights.
· Manage marketing calendars, budgets, and agency or vendor relationships.
· Track and report on KPIs such as lead volume, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and customer acquisition metrics.
· Ensure brand consistency across campaigns and channels.
Key Performance Measures/Deliverables:
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs):
· Lead Volume: Number of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) generated per month/quarter.
· Lead Quality: Percentage of leads that convert to sales-qualified leads (SQLs).
· Cost Per Lead (CPL): Efficiency of paid campaigns and total cost to acquire each lead.
· Conversion Rates:
o Landing page → lead
o Email open/click-through rates
o MQL → SQL → Closed deal
· Pipeline Contribution: Dollar value of sales pipeline sourced by marketing.
· Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI): Revenue generated from marketing spend.
· Website Performance: Traffic, unique visitors, time on site, bounce rate.
· Engagement Metrics: Social media engagement, ad click-through rates (CTR), and content downloads.
· Lead Nurture Effectiveness: Email drip engagement and time-to-conversion improvements.
· Brand Growth Metrics: Followers, impressions, reach, and share of voice (if applicable).
· Manage Firm GMB Pages and obtain Google Reviews.
Key Deliverables
· Quarterly and annual lead generation plan tied to sales goals.
· Campaign calendars (email, paid media, events, content).
· Optimized landing pages and lead capture forms.
· Monthly performance dashboards and KPI reports.
· Marketing automation workflows (nurture sequences, scoring models).
· Paid advertising campaigns (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
· Content assets such as newsletters, blog posts, guides, and firm marketing materials.
· Audience segmentation strategy and updated CRM data hygiene.
· A/B testing roadmap for ads, messaging, and landing pages.
· Competitive and market analysis updates.
The Qualified Candidate
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
· Experience: 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, lead generation, or demand generation—ideally in a real estate, professional services, or B2C/B2B services environment.
· Technical Skills:
· Proficiency with CRM using HubSpot
· Proficiency with WordPress to make routine updates to the website and blogs.
· Strong knowledge of digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads), SEO, SEM, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console).
· Experience with email marketing, landing page optimization, A/B testing, and conversion funnel analysis.
· Graphic design or basic video editing skills
